Best of Provence – part II (market)

If you are planning on visiting Provence you must visit at least one traditional open-air market, where local merchants set up their stalls on village square or narrow streets. It is a colorful and lively event and a feast for the eyes and nose. You can easily spend a day wandering through the stalls and people watching as you sit at a table with a glass of wine or cup of coffee.

Each town typically has a market one day a week, so get there early to avoid the crowds!
