Grey and miserable winter days

After a period of grey, cold and miserable winter days, my mind starts to wander and remembering moments from not so distant vacation spent in Algarve, southern part of Portugal.

Algarve served us on a silver platter, seven days of clear blue sky with pleasant temperatures, great desserts and seemingly endless series of some of Europe’s finest and spectacular beaches.

For our gateway, we chose city of Lagos as our base camp for exploring this beautiful part of Portugal. We drove more then 1k kilometers through idyllic landscape, visited small traditional villages with white washed houses and more than a dozen dreamy beaches separated by dramatic cliffs.

This was also first vacation and short flight experience for our little Bumblebee and I have to say that she passed the exam with perfect 10. So now we are even more convinced that we are ready for some serious backpacking in more exotic countries…
